TURTLE ON BEACH

I'm normally very critical of my work. Very rarely do I think that any image really stands out as anything special but I'm quite proud of this shot of a turtle coming ashore on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was about 3am and I couldn't sleep so stepped outside my beach villa to take a look at the moon and spotted this turtle having a nap. I set up the tripod and took a variety of pictures being very careful not to wake him up (no flash was used in this shot). And viola here is it. Hope you like it as well.
